Skerpla is an experimental sound lab based at Iceland University of the Arts.
The lab consists of a course that is running every semester at the IUA Music Department and Skerpla Ensemble that performs in different contexts.
Skerpla is run by Berglind María Tómasdóttir and John McCowen. Every semester guest artists are invited to lead sessions on doing things with sound.
